NBC to Make a Miniseries About Hillary Clinton

Last week it was announced that the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) will be making a miniseries on the life of former first lady, secretary of state and senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. Entitled "Hillary", the four-hour miniseries will star actress Diane Lane in the role of the title character. The series will follow her life from 1998 to the present, and is expected to cover everything from being the long-suffering wife of an unfaithful husband, to her run for presidency to the Benghazi controversy. The program is expected to air sometime before Clinton announces her decision about running for President in 2016. According to NBC Chairman Bob Greenblatt, the story is not based on any particular book and the Clintons will not be involved in the writing or the project. Courtney Hunt will write and direct the project.



Thus far, it has not been announced who will play the parts of President Bill Clinton or President Barack Obama. Please feel welcome to comment with your suggestions for casting these roles.
