Campaigning in Wisconsin

As the campaign winds down, the candidates are making their closing arguments. If you live in a swing state, you've had a chance to hear and see a lot of high profile political speakers, but for those who haven't, I'm embedding campaign speeches for each of the leading candidates below. Consider this a little slice of history:

Here is Mitt Romney speaking is West Allis, Wisconsin yesterday:



and here is President Barack Obama speaking in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Thursday:



I noticed that each spoke for about 26 minutes. Is that the standard length of time for candidate's speeches? If you want to get more of this, throughout the campaign POTUS Radio has been presenting something called "the Raw Feed" in which entire speeches of each candidate are played in their entirety.

Imagine what it would have been like to hear Theodore Roosevelt, William Jennings Bryant, FDR, Henry Clay or any of the old campaign speeches back in the day. Some day people will look back at these speeches with the same perspective.
