Presidents When They Were Young
For today's fare I've decided to post a picspam of some of the Presidents as children and young men. Many of these are scooped from a Life Magazine online article that I found. For added challenge, I'll set out the names of these Presidents at the end of the post. See how many you can identify from their photos (and the accompanying hints):
1. This kid looks pretty slick.
2. Do I look Canadian to you?
3. This kid flew combat missions when he was 18, what were you doing at that age?
4. Someone looks pretty cool for a young Pacifist.
5. This young momma's boy looks like momma's girl in this picture.
6. Future President and future vampire hunter?
7. I don't know what he's hatching in his diaper, but I'm guessing that it's not the great society.
8. I am not a crook! Well not yet anyhow.
9. This future college football player, future model and future president is looking out for his baby brother.
10. This future president is shown on the beach in Hawaii with his grandpa.
11. The dog's name is Bozo. For some reason I had imagined that he would have called his dog Peanuts.
12. I wonder if he gave 'em hell when he was a baby?
13. They said he was a sickly child, but he grew up with enough energy for 10 presidents.
14. Even at age 7 he had that "weaned on a pickle" look.
15. A young buck private later became the Commander-in-Chief.
16. Even when he was young (17 in this picture) he looked old. I guess a life of chasing women will do that to you.
17. Big Willie was once Little Willie.
18. Big brother Joe was supposed to be the President in the family, but life is what happens to us when we're making other plans.
19. This teenage future president wasn't just a lifeguard, he was actually a life saver.
20. Hey future President don't drop that baby, he'll be the Governor of Florida someday.
